A site,as defined by the MCP, is a location of a release of oil or hazardous materials to the environment, and a RAM represents activities that are implemented to mitigate a release of oil or hazardous materials that are regulated under the MCP. Asbestos is regulated under the MCP,and has been identified in demolition debris and soil at 2 Cedar Road and 3 Cedar Road, for which remedial measures will be implemented under a RAM. A RAM Plan has been submitted to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP),to allow implementation of the release abatement on or after November 27, 2017. The abatement measure consists of recovery of asbestos debris and associated soil, and disposal at a licensed disposal facility. A copy of the RAM Plan can be viewed and/or downloaded at the following website: http://Public.dep.state.ma.us/SearchableSites2/Search.aspx by entering"3" in the first"RTN"search box,and "34633" in the second RTN search box; no other search parameters are required.
