Recommendation
At its meeting on September 24, 2014 the Design Review Board voted three
separate motions with respect to signage at 128 Goodhue Street (North River
Apartments):
1. To approve the address signage, conditional upon the following:
a. Address sign letters decrease in size.
b. Match the capital text proportion to the North River freestanding sign
capital text size.
c. Type to be 6 %" tall black letters.
2. To approve the size and location of five (5) tenant signs as presented

Proposal for September 24 DRB Meeting
The applicant proposes to erect the following signage:
1. Building address signage to be installed above the front entrance. Black
acrylic letters will be 6" and run 6'11" across.
2. Five (5) signs to be installed above tenants' store entrances. Each sign would
be 4'x1'9" with "Cushing Green" backing flush mounted, with 7" high white
acrylic letters. This will be standard signage for each tenant.
Staff Comment
The applicant is gathering more information about the linear measurements of each
storefront in order to inform whether proposed signage meets square footage
requirements of the City's sign ordinance.
