Dear Mr. Ronan:
During our routine inspection of the repair of the fire damage at
the referenced property the following items were noted and must be
corrected before the premises can be re-occupied.
1 . ) The duct work in the bedroom closet has come disconnected
from the riser. These pieces must be joined in a fashion to
prevent their coming apart.
2. ) The window in the bathroom which opens into the stairwell
must be closed in with sheetrock. Openings into a stairwell other
than the door are not permitted. Since the law requires baths to
be vented by natural or mechanical means it will be necessary to
provide some form, either skylight or fan, through the roof.
Would you please see that these matters are accomplished prior
to our final inspection for occupancy:
