Dear Mr., Munroe,
I would like to bring to your attention what I believe to be the illegal use and occupancy
of a two family house known as 53 Buffum St., Salem, MA. I am very familiar with this: house
and this neighborhood in as much as I live next door at 55 Buffum St., and have lived there
for over fourty years.
For the past two years or so, since the house was sold by the former owner/occupant, Mr.
& Mrs. Graffam, There has been constant flow of different people and vehicles for what
seems to be a period of a few weeks to a few months. A significant number of vehicles
seem to be associated with the construction or contracting business, such as pick-up tr dks'
and vans containing tools and equipment. It appears that the two family house is being used
as a "rooming house".
A written reply as to your findings would be appreciated.
