Also enclosed is the Form 8A—Request for Certificate of Compliance. By examining the as-built plan you will note that the approved patio at the rear of the dwelling was not construction, and the stair system associated with the rear deck was reduced from what was approved. The entrance on the northerly side of the dwelling was modified slightly and several flagstone walkways were constructed around the structure. Also, two stone dust parking strips were constructed on the southerly side of the dwelling; note that only a portion of the strips are located within 100 feet of the coastal bank. The runoff from these strips flows toward Columbus Avenue. Based on the above you will see that the elimination of the patio and reduction in the stair system for the rear deck mitigates the minor changes in the side entrance, the addition of the flag stone walks and the construction of the stone dust parking strips. I hereby certify that all work has been satisfactorily completed in accordance with the approved plans and your Order, with the exception of the items mentioned above which, as stated, should not result in any adverse impact to the resource area; therefore, at this time we are requesting that the Commission issue a Certificate of Compliance.
