NFC File: MA-25663-P Page 2 Conclusion Calculations reveal that the double 2x8 rafters over a ten foot span beam is adequate to meet Code per Massachusetts Code Table # 5802.5.1(4), According to this table, the allowable span for a single rafter is 13.2' which indicates that the double rafters will be more than adequate. These findings are based on the following criteria: Dead Loads: 20 ps£(roof deck; floors, finished ceilings and walls) Wind Load: 100 mph with Exposure B Snow Load: 40 psf We reserve the right to amend these findings should additional information become available.
