Dear Mr. Trombly:
As we discussed last week, in connection with a security interest to be granted in
the above referenced property, our client has been asked to provide a letter from your office
as to the property's compliance with Salem's zoning regulations. We are requesting a letter
which will state the following with reference to the property:
• Type of zone in which the property is located
• Confirmation that the current use of the property is allowed (whether by right,
variance, pre-existing use, etc.)
• Confirmation that your records reflect no outstanding zoning violations relating to the

This letter is being requested solely to confirm that the current use is not in

Enclosed, as we discussed, is our firm's check in the amount of$30, together with a

Please call me if there is anything further you require in connection with this
request.
Thank you very much for your assistance in this matter.
