Per our telephone conversation regarding my letter
sent to you on February 26 , 1997 , I wish to apologize for
any inconvience I might of caused you in my incorrect
interpretation of the zoning district of the above
mentioned location.
This property located at 52-56 Bridge Street is
located in a B-4 district , which allows the sale of
automobiles , boats and trailers . The allowable number of
automobiles, boats and trailers to be sold are to be
controlled by the City of Salem Licensing Board .
However there are several violations that exist on
the property that must be corrected.
1 . The sales trailer on premises being used as an office
for the used car dealership is not a permitted use .
2 . You must have parking spaces available for customers
use . One space for each one hundred fifty ( 150 ) sq .
ft . of gross floor area of the building, excluding
storage area .
3 . The automobiles , boats and trailers must be placed
on the property in a more orderly fashion.
