Re:zoning/building code violations
Dear Ms. Gelentadakis,
Several months ago, I inspected the property at 39 Bridge Street . A makeshift shed had been erected on the left
hand side of the parking lot. The shed was constructed without permits and will not meet any building codes.
The shed also violates zoning. The shed needs to be removed immediately. Also, one of the businesses is using
a camper to conduct business. This is also prohibited under Salem zoning, and violates the Massachusetts
Architectural Access Boards' regulations regarding accessibility.You are directed to cease this use immediately
. If you wish to appeal the Building code order,your right to appeal is the Board of Buildings,Regulations and
Standards in Boston. Zoning decisions may be appealed to the Salem Zoning Board of Appeals.

The property located at 37-39 Bridge Street is located in a B-4 district. This allows the
automotive use. B-4 zoning district allows all business uses in a B-1 Zone. This would
allow the Financing Company located at the front of the building.
