You are hereby ORDERED to make a good-faith effort to correct the violations listed on the enclosed inspection report and to take all positive action to prevent these violations from occurring again in the future. Failure on your part to comply within the time specified on the enclosed inspection report will result in a complaint being sought against you in Trial Court. Violationisf Based upon a tenant complaint a permitted inspection was conducted in accordance with Article II of the State Sanitary Code, 105 CMR 410.000. Upon Inspection the following were noted: 7 Days .480 1. On the top floor of the dwelling unit, there is a bedroom adjacent to .500 the bathroom that has a window on the right with a bottom sash that falls out of its frame and lacks locks. Repair this window so that the sashes stay in frame, open and close with ease, and can lock and unlock properly. Owner has 7 DAYS to start making a good-faith effort to correct this violation. .351 2. On the top floor of the dwelling unit, the same bedroom adjacent to 24 Hours .750 (L) the bathroom has pipes coming out of the wall facing the bathroom. Have a licensed plumber remove these pipes from the wall. Owner has 24 HOURS to start making a good-faith effort to correct this violation. 351 3. On the top floor of the dwelling unit, the bathroom's sink basin is 7 Days loose and can be pushed out of place with ease. Repair this bathroom sink so that its basin is properly affixed to the wall and supporting frame. Owner has 7 DAYS to start making a good-faith effort to correct this violation. _ .150 4. On the top floor of the dwelling unit, the bathroom's bathtub's caulking 7 Days is loose and missing where the tub meets the walls. Re-caulk this bathroom's bathtub. On the top floor of the dwelling unit, the window above the stairs 7 Days leading to the bottom floor has a torn screen. Repair tears in this window's screen. Owner has 7 DAYS to start making a good-faith effort to correct this violation. .551 6. On the bottom floor of the dwelling unit, the hallway area next to the 7 Days doors to the stairs has a temporary screen in its frame. Remove this screen and replace with screen that covers the entirety of the open portion of the window. Refrain from using temporary screens as they are not allowed for use in Massachusetts rental properties. Owner has 7 DAYS to start making agood-faith effort to correct this violation. .351 7. On the bottom floor of the dwelling unit, the stoves two right-side 7 Days burners do not work. Repair stove so all burners turn on and off as intended. There is garbage, recycling, and bulk items piling up on and around 7 Days .601 the garbage and recycling bins at the rear of the property. Store .602 garbage and recycling properly within their respective bins. Have bulk .750 (I) items disposed of in a sanitary manner. Owner has 7 DAYS to start making agood-faith effort to correct this violation. .481 9. The owner does not live at the property and the owner's contact info 7 Days is not posted in a conspicuous area. Have the owner's name, address, and phone number,placed on a sign made of durable material no less than 20 square inches in size, and have this sign placed in either a common hallway used by all occupants or next to the mailboxes. A lead determination was conducted at the time of inspection and a To be .750 (J) dangerous amount of lead was found in the interior common stairway determined by at the side of the house facing March Street. The Massachusetts CLPPP. Department of Public Health's Childhood Lead Poisoning Protection Program (CLPPP)was informed and CLPPP informed the inspector that they would be handling the case.
