Applicant's Description
of Work:
We, my wife Lorraine and I, have just moved into 15 Beckford and I would like to
place a storage shed for garden tools, lawn mower, snowblower, wheel barrel,
bicycles and other miscellenous garage type storage. There is no garage at this
property. The shed is a fabricated Eastern Shed 14'w a 8' deep with single door on
one of 8 ft side and double door on other 8"side, with two 12 pane windows on the
14' side facing the street, and back of the house.
The driveway between 15 and 17 Beckford is shared and narrow and so the shed
itself should not be very visible from the street unless standing in the middle of
driveway. The shed is going to be wood clapboard siding with asphalt roof. We
plan to paint the shed the same color as the house so that it will match and blend.
We also plan on installing a black 4' high metal fence with a 5' gate between the
corner of the house to the corner of the shed. This fence will run along the
driveway pavement to create an enclosure for our dogs in the back yard.
The pavement on the driveway is in good condition and level so the shed will not
require any foundation or ground breaking and will float on the pavement.
