FOREST RIVER POOL SPEC SHEETS-FILTRATION, ETC. evo Q UA WATER TECHNOLOGIES DEFENDER° REGENERATIVE MEDIA FILTERS ' THE PREMIUM CHOICE IN WATER FILTRATION _ 1'Y _ REGENERATIVE MEDIA FILTERS Simply put Regenerative Media a • ' Filters(RMF's)are nothing like your traditional sand fliers.NepLun.e- Benson developed regenerative i media technology to deWer ti aquatics venues with the clearest, cleanest and safest water possible: i NEPTUNE BENSON,AN EVOQUA BRAND Neptune Benson has been synonymous w!th water filtra-11on and disinfection, serving the aquatics recreational markets since 1956.With over 20,000 installations in 45 countries.we have the expertise to help you meet your waver and air quality goals, while keeping safety and sustainability top of mind. i REGENERATIVE MEDIA FILTRATION . Sand and regenerative media filters(RMF's) both operate on the principle of mechanical filtration. Sand filters trap particles in water throughout the depth of the r sand bed. When the bed becomes dirty/ loaded, it is cleaned by backwash'.ng,a process:hac sends considerable 4 amounts of water to drain. RMF's trap particles on the surface of flexible t, tubes coated with perlite media. When the perlite becomes loaded, RM-'s regenerate by bumping,a process in which no water is lost. In addition to providing super'or 1 vs 20-30 micron particulate removal, RM-'s significantly reduce the amount of water wasted to drain. LAP POOL: 1 FAMILY POOL: 1 CO Controller 2 SOUTH SHORE GUNITE POOLS AND SPASIINC. SECTION: 131510 PART: 2.26 Effective pH control in pool water a The ProMinent CO2 Feeder is designed to utilize Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in the control of pH levels in pools and spas. There are a number of advantages when using CO2 for pH control compared to acid. Adding CO2 will not contribute to a TDS increase in water, thus reducing the amount of make-up water required to maintain the water quality. It is much safer, as there is no mineral acid solution or fumes present on-site, which solves the problems associated with handling acid and corrosive fumes. It is also simple to install and operate. The ProMinent CO2 Feeder is equipped with all the necessary components for easy installation, reliable performance and safe operation. The design ,C incorporates an electronic solenoid valve and a manually adjustable flow-meter. Specifications d' Overall Feeder Dimensions 8.2"H x 7.4"W x 7.5"D (w/ Mtg.
