The currentv installed orancre fencing is 4 ' high. A 6' fencinq would extend 1 ' 3" above the top of the fence posts . An 8 ' hiah fencina would extend 3 ' 3" above the top of the fence posts. It would flop back an forth with the wind. The currenty installed posts may not take the additional weight of the 8 ' fencina and its flopp.ina action. The ground is currenty frozen, and customer installable posts are not available in 8 ' heiaht. Home Depot does not carry 8 ' fencing. The highest is 6' high by 50 ' long at $89. 2 sections would cover 100 ' and cost $178 . Thus current circumstances dictate that I install the two 6' secti ons. until weather and finances. allow me to replace it witn a oerman-_-- t fence. As for your concern about trash being thrown over the 6 ' fence. . . There have been no more dumpinas since the 4 ' oranae fencing_ wazl installed on 12/08/13. n am in negotiations with a property management company that will remove the current dumpings, and monitor the property regularly for future dumpings. They may help me install the temporary 6' chain link fencina also. Though we have had to deal with this problem, at either our, or our tenants expense, in sporadic frequency for many years, as a result of being a neighbor to the city's incinerator; the dumping has now been occurring more frequently now that our property is known to be vacant Some of the items dumped recently had been: trash, wooden palettes, chain link fencing, prunings, bricks, tiles, and furniture, which has now been removed. Would you please include our property on your nighttime patrols. Currently, NO ONE, including the former tenant Timothy G. McSweeney, has permission to be on the property at any time of day or night without my being present, and should be considered as trespassing, until further notice. Also, should a patrolman be suspect of an unattended vehicle parked there, no one has permission to park any vehicle on the property at any time, until further notice. I will notify you in writing when the building becomes occupied, and these conditions lapse. Thank you for any vigilance that you are able to provide. Also, there is a posted "Police Patrolled No Dumping, $100 fine" near the property, which was not that effective a deterrent in the 70's. The amount should be increased and adjusted for inflation. $1,000 may be more deterring. Sincerely, George J.
