RE: 45 Traders Way Pool Plan Review:
Dear Mr. Mesh,
After reviewing the proposed plans for the pool at 45 Traders Way, Salem,MA the following areas were
identified as needing additional information.
1. What is the maximum bather load for this pool?
2. Dose the pool have a balancing or float control tank?
3. Will this pool have a bath house or changing rooms?
4. There is no back board with straps identified in the safety equipment. This will need to be
provided.
5. 1 do not see delineated on the plans a minimum of 4' around the pool deck. This needs
clarification on the plans.
6. Will lifeguards be employed at this pool? If not, a sign stating
7. The safety equipment calls out a Cintas MA- 1st aid kit. This kit will need to be reviewed by the
Board of Health to ensure that is ANSI Z308.1-2015 compliant.
8. The safety equipment submittal identifies a stock sign which may or may not be compliant with
CMR 435.220-C(new code).The signage must be reviewed by the Board of Health prior to
posting at the pool. .
9. Is the installation of the emergency communication system part of SSGP's contract? If so,the
emergency communications system must comply with this section of 105 CMR 430.
