On Wednesday, July 7, 2021, David Greenbaum, Health Agent for the Salem Board of Health conducted an inspection of the property and noted that the side stairs There are broken windows, and the property is littered with loose trash rugs and miscellaneous debris. These conditions create an ideal harborage for rodents and other neighborhood pests. In accordance with Massachusetts General Law c.111, s122 the Salem Board of Health determines that these conditions create an imminent health hazard and public health nuisance. Therefore, in accordance with Massachusetts General Law c.111, s123, you are ordered to abate these nuisance conditions and take positive action to repair the property to habitable condition. These violations must begin to be corrected within 24 hours of receipt of this order. Failure,to comply with this order may result in a criminal complaint being sought against you in Salem District Court. Should you be aggrieved by this Order, you have the right to request a hearing before the Board of Health. A request for such a hearing must be received in writing in this office of the Board of Health within seven (7) days of receipt of this Order.
