A masonry chimney has been erected which obstructs access to the rear exit on the second floor. 2. Insufficient egress lighting 3. Gas water heater located below first floor stair. By the terms of Section 3400.5 and Section 121 of the State Building Code You are hereby ordered to remedy this condition within 7 days of your receipt of this notice. The vacant apartment should remain so until these conditions have been addressed. Failure to do so may result in further actions being brought against you, up to and including the filing of complaints at District Court.
