I spoke with John Carrigan of DEP regarding the Transfer Station. He suggested that the Board consider
discussing the siting issues at the same public hearing regarding the minor modification.
Chris Harrington, Chair, and I will meet Alan Hanscom at the Transfer Station on Monday to look at the area. In
addition, Trill will give us a couple of views of the entire parcel.

Dear Beth:
Regarding the siting of the Transfer Station: I asked Alan Hanscom in an email if we could get an
Arial map showing the area and delineating where we think the property boundaries are. Also,
who owns the bordering properties? Maybe the best way to see what is included is to see what is
left when we account for those other properties. Plus, it would be difficult to site an area to find
later that it is owned by someone else!
