This office also had no records of permits for this construction and/or variance or special permit approvals for this third floor unit. Furthermore the unit in violation contains no secondary means of egress as required by the Massachusetts State Building Code and possible cross connections of utilities with other units in the building Ms. Schimmell was ordered to vacate the third floor apartment unit immediately, which she was compliant on, relocating to a hotel in Danvers,Massachusetts. Mr. Plante the Property's Landlord was subsequently ordered to secure permits for its removal which he was compliant on as of July 2, 2012.. A Required Inspection was conducted by this office on Thursday,May 10, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. and the unit was vacant of any occupants.
