at 2: 00 P M the following violations have been noted:
LIVING ROOM - ceiling in bad repair (sagging)
BATHROOM - hole in ceiling also ceiling leaking from floor above.
COMMON AREA - Ballusters missing and broken on stairway. Holes in
wall second floor. Inner hall leading to Porterfield
apartment has holes in plaster. Rear hall outside second
second floor apartment ceiling leaks.
EXTERIOR - Second floor porch being supported by wooden plank.

Gentlemen#
In reference to your letter concerning comments from your
latest inspection 00 l0j Andrew St. , Salem, the following
action has taken place#
] . A new skylight was installed on third floor rear.
2. The yard was completely cleaned.
9. The soft spot in the wall on the third floor
was repaired.
4. A bricklayer has been contacted and promises
to point the two front chimneys this month.
5. Hallways were cleaned.
6. The building inspector supposedly che4L�,e4 *A e
parches without any further comment.
7. It is my opinion that front and rear locks are not
feasible since the postman, gas and electrical readers
must have entry. All apartments have double locks.
All that remains undone are a few items in Mrs. Atwood' s
apartment. These would have beeuncorrected before now
except she has not been willing to 16tworkmen enter to
correct these items. I will personally be with the work-
men this saturday to do the work, If she is uncooperative,
this time I must insist that she move to allow me access
to do same.
