Dear Maurice:
Please be advised that the above entitled property was
taken for non-payment of taxes in 1980 and I am enclosing
a copy of the instrument of taking for your records .
I have instructed the Assistant City Solicitor to take
the necessary steps to foreclose the tax lien so the pro-
perty can be sold. In the interim, I suggest your department
secure the property as you can.

Dear Madam:
Many complaints have been received by this department relative to your
property at 10. Allen Street. Based on these complaints, an on-site
inspection noted the following:
The exterior premises of this two family dwelling is in poor repair -
with many broken windows and some missing entirely. .
The residents of the area state the dwelling is vacant and that children
and other unknown persons are getting inside. At time of inspection, there
was no response to inspector.
In its present condition and close proximity to other houses in this some-
what congested neighborhood, this building poses serious potential health,
safety and fire hazards in the area, and corrective action should be taken
immediately to secure the premises, and remove' the unregistered motor vehicle
which also poses fire/safety hazard.
Kindly contact this office immediately of your intent to secure this building
and date and time for the completion of „the work to be performed.
