The meeting was a required meeting to discuss building code issues at your property. Present with me was David Greenbaum, Salem Health Inspector. The violation letter of April 3, 2007 calls out three building code violations and a zoning violation. It is my opinion that the building has not been used or rented as a two family in at least several years. The building code violations need to be corrected as well as some interior renovations to eliminate an appearance of a second unit. It was my opinion and Health Inspector, Greenbaum concurred/that the violation were not serious enough to require a workmen to enter the building before extermination of rodents. You agreed to have sufficient labor to correct building code problems as soon as the abatement was done I was comfortable with the agreement. If you have any questions, please contact me directly. This structure has been converted into a two family residence without zoning relief to do so. The building must be returned to a lawful single family house, and this must be done with the required permits in place.
