This morning, I looked at the shed and confirmed that it is a Zoning Violation. This office has no record of a permit for this shed and the placement violates section 3.2.4"Acessory Structures"which states in part that no accessory structure shall be placed closer than ten feet to the principal structure nor closer than five feet from a lot line.The current location violates both regulations.You are directed to secure a building permit and submit your plan to relocate the shed within ten days of receipt of this notice. If you feel you are aggrieved by my Zoning interpretation,your Appeal is to the Salem zoning Board of Appeals. If you have any questions,please contact me directly.
