Dear Owner,
This department received a complaint regarding the recent installation of a shed on your property. This
morning, I looked at the shed and confirmed that it is a Zoning Violation. This office has no record of a permit
for this shed and the placement violates section 3.2.4"Acessory Structures"which states in part that no
accessory structure shall be placed closer than ten feet to the principal structure nor closer than five feet from a
lot line.The current location violates both regulations.You are directed to secure a building permit and submit
your plan to relocate the shed within ten days of receipt of this notice.
If you feel you are aggrieved by my Zoning interpretation,your Appeal is to the Salem zoning Board of
Appeals. If you have any questions,please contact me directly.

This letter .will serve as a demand upon you to
perform the obligations under the Purchase and Sale
Agreement and Escrow Agreement, which. were executed by
you, myself and my wife with regard to the Purchase of
Lot 295, Alba Avenue, Salem, Massachusetts, to fix, • repair
and replace the following' itemsr
A. The windows were improperly installed-springs .
broken,`` sashes bent, etc . These conditions existed at
the . time' of the purchase of the house and have never been
rectiffed'. .
B. The driveway was improperly laid and was subsequently
further damaged- by your heavy machinery passing over it.
C . The excess paint- 'is still on the windows and has
never been removed , x
D. .,The landscaping has not been completed . r
E.. The defective kitchen floor that was laid, by your
corporation has now been replaced by Armstrong, by.Chelsea
Floor Covering, and 2 am holding youcorporation liable for
the amount of $110.00 which was paid by me to replace said
floor.

If the above are not rectified or an attempt to
correct them has not been made within two weeks from
the date hereof, I will, at that time, employ certain
companies to come in and repair; replace and complete
any and all necessary items as stated above .
This letter will serve to 'put you on,notice 'that `
I will hold your corporations liable for any and all
accrued damages which were; and may be; incurred asa a"`
result of my, expenditures. to correct the above defects .. ,
I also• wish to' inform you that no liability will
be assumed .by. me or my wife for any injuries .which 'occur
to any person who falls and suffers any harm whatsoever
caused, directly by the rockly incline' that "you left 1n`
the rear of my property, and which ,is -ln' a dangerous and
unsafe condition, but which.dould_ have.'been corrected
by a retaining Wall that your corporation was to erect, , .
but .faiied to do. If any legal action is brought against
myself and my Wife as a, 'result• of, any incident arising
from this condition; I will have no alternative but, to
implead you, in .that cause of action.
