Dear Kathleen:
This office has received several complaints
concerning the above mentioned property. On June 23 ,
1997 , I conducted an inspection of said property and found
that two electrical meters exist on the property.
This property is a legal one family dwelling
according to my records . If you wish to utilize said
property as a legal two family dwelling, you must obtain a
Special Permit from the City of Salem Board of Appeals .
Please call my department upon receiving this letter ,
so we can discuss a proper resolution concerning this
property . Failure to do so will result in legal action
being taken against you.

This complaint was received over the Neighborhood
Improvement Task Force hot line, where people can leave
complaints on a recorder without leaving their names , and
we as City departments do the necessary inspections to
resolve any violations that may exist .
