Roof Replacement- 8 Dormers -Asphalt Shingles CertainTeed XT 25 8.0 $1,200.00 $9,600.00 RB Farina Roofing&Construction http://www.farinaroof.com 1 of 5 -Removal of existing shingles (up to 2 layers) and underlayments in order to expose and confirm the integrity of the existing roof sheathing. -Installation of starter strip shingles and copper drip edge along the eaves/edges to protect the roof. -Installation of Grace Ice & Water Shield HT from the eaves/edge all the way to the ridge and on all the valleys to prevent leakage. -Install new COPPER valley to all dormers. -Installation of around 5 square(s) of Asphalt Shingles CertainTeed XT 25. -Installation of new ridge. -Installation of new ridge cap on the top ridge. -Complete clean-up and removal of all debris, including the use of a magnetic roller to pick up nails. Note: -In case customer requires slate replacement, an additional of U$ 12000.00 for providing SPECIALIZED LABOR and MATERIAL (Vermont Unfading Green Slates) will be added to this estimate. -Estimate has been provided according to the existing roof. Dormer- Flashing Repair (Middle Rear) 1.0 $5,700.00 $5,700.00 -Remove existing slates around the middle rear dormer; -Remove existing flashing and underlayments around the dormer; -Inspect roof deck prior to receive underlayments; -Install Grace Ice and Water Shield HT around dormer all the way up to the valley; -Make a cut 6" up of the roof deck; -Install new roll, step and corner flashing; -Apply Polyurethane Based Caulking over new flashing and where necessary; -Install Slates around dormer; -Clean up dust and debris from the roof and floor. NOTE: FOR YOUR PROJECT WE ARE NOT REMOVING OR APPLYING STUCCO. In a minority of our roofing projects, damaged sheathing may be identified during the installation process once the shingles are removed. When this is the case, additional charges for sheathing replacement will apply at a rate of $135.00 per sheet (plywood), or $5,50 per linear foot, if it is a (wood board). Precautions such as covering valuables with plastic sheeting are highly recommended. -Shrubs and landscaping near the roofline will be protected with a tarp as needed. -RB Farina Roofing is not responsible for any kind of damage over rotten/damaged siding during the process of flashing replacement. -Permit fees are included in this estimate, in case the job requires it. -In order to be granted a Permit to do the job, the customer authorizes RB Farina Roofing to act on his/her behalf by printing/signing the customer's name in all documents necessary for the submission of an application along with the Buiding Department and/or City Hall. This estimate expires 30 days after it was issued. PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION TERMS Down Payment of 33% - Due at contract signing for permitting process. 2nd Payment of 33% - Due at the start of the project. Final Payment of 34% - Due at the completion of the project and paid at final walkthrough. Considerations: It is at the discretion of RB Farina Roofing to request the Permit before receiving the downpayment. However, if the customer requests the cancellation of this contract after a Permit submission has been made along with the Building Department, the customer agrees to pay all fees already paid by RB Farina. If the down payment has already been made, the amount will be deducted from the refund. If RB Farina Roofing has not yet received a down payment, an invoice will be issued to the customer with the amount of the fees. The client agrees that if payment is not made according to the above plan, Farina has the right to stop all work until such payments have been brought current. RB Farina Roofing may terminate or suspend this contract if the customer did not act accordingly to this agreement when it comes to: * Have the payments made according to the terms in this agreement. RB Farina Roofing&Construction http://www.farinaroof.com 3 of 5 * If the customer postponed the work for more than 6 months after RB Farina Roofing had gotten a Permit. In this case, if RB Farina Roofing, for its own discretion, decides to reconsider moving on with the project, a new Permit application will be needed and a $150.00 fee for the new application plus the fee RB Farina Roofing will have to pay to the Building Department in order to submit a new application, will be automatically applied to the customer invoice. * If the customer decides to terminate this contract, RB Farina Roofing needs to receive a written notice from the customer who is named in the contract at least 72 business hours before the job is going to start. If RB Farina Roofing has made purchases for the project, the customer agrees to pay 80% of the total amount that RB Farina Roofing had paid in all purchases for the project. The payment is due immediately upon RB Farina Roofing sending the receipts for such purchases. * If RB Farina Roofing decides to terminate this contract a written notice will be sent to the customer informing the reason for the breach. Purchasing material, Permit fees will not be refunded, they will be deducted from the amount already paid and the remaining amount will be refunded. * The customer understands and accepts that the work starts anywhere from two to six weeks after the contract is signed (approved by hitting the green button on the button of the estimate and a downpayment is provided. * The customer understands and accepts that if the temperature is too high or too low it would risk RB Farina Roofing Employees' health and/or safety and given that the job will be rescheduled. * The customer is agreed to provide electrical power if needed at the time of the work and has the responsibility to get in touch with the electrical company in order to ensure the wires are wrapped and will not represent a risk for the employees working at the property. * Any other reason to terminate this contract can be negotiated between the parties.
