Re: Construction Observation
Dear Tom,
The following observations are based on a periotic site visits by Michel Beheshti,of my staff.
Observation:
General areas:
• The steel stair that was scheduled to be demoed is removed from 4"floor down to ls,floor and the
floor infills are in place.
• All windows on 3rd,41&2nd floor north are replaced.
2nd floor:
• All new roofing on the flat portion is being installed.The walkway link's roof has ice&water shield
but new roofing is not done yet.
Lobby Area:
• Concrete slab at front entry is place,front entry wall has been modified which reflects the design.The
glass frameless front doors are installed,the side lights are not installed yet. The soffit below the
existing skylight has been removed and aligned with new framed higher ceiling above the transom
levels.The framed ceiling is not finished yet.The south Lobby brick wall is exposed. The north
mailbox wall is framed&has sheet rock.The new stud wall separating the restaurant area&the Lobby
adjacent to the stair is in place but needs sheet rock&the door.
3"floor south:
• The corridor walls have sheet rock on the corridor side and getting ready for egress of 3"floor north
and the partial occupancy for the 31d floor north. The floor will be grinded&leveled before new
flooring installation.The stud walls are up but need sheet rock&insulation.
3rd floor north:
• Units 7, 8&9 have all walls&ceilings have G.W.B.and painted.The corridor needs to have ACT.
The shower in unit 9 and wall tiles is installed.
• Unit 7 entry door is installed. All trims are being completed.
• The Unit 6 is being completed next.
4'"floor:
• Stud wall framing is 90%done. Duct works are being done.
• South stair enclosure is not complete yet.
Recommendations or Actions:
1-The Structural Engineer will be submitting independent reports.
