Re: smoke detectors
Dear Ms. Harvey,
It was discovered that the home you are in has no working smoke or carbon monoxide detectors as
required by Mass code. The City, through it' contractor Mike Page ,will be at the property Thursday,
June 7th at 8:30 to install smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. It should not take more than an hour
and should not be too disruptive. If you have any questions, please contact me directly.

Att: Thomas St. Pierre RE: Woodlands Subdivision
Clark Ave, Salem, MA
Dear Mr. St. Pierre:
As a follow up to our phone conversation on May 1, 2018 and the complaints you are receiving
from an abutter regarding the project, more specifically the materials operation, we offer the
following clarifications.
This site is a large material export site, so the majority of the materials generated will eventually
need to be hauled offsite, notwithstanding the above there are certain import materials that will
be needed for the proper execution of the work i.e. sand, common fill, pea stone, concrete,
etc....
We reiterate what was stated in our email of April 5, 2018, which was that we are/will be
importing clean fill material into the site to blend with the rock and ledge, as needed for the
subdivision. We are also bringing in pea stone, that is required for blasting operations.
We understand hauling in rock for processing to haul back off site is not allowed.
Please let us know if someone from the City would like to meet on site and we can review our
operations with the applicable party.
Please let us know if there are any additional questions.
Sincerely,
Thomas Pascuccio
