of Work:
We need to replace an aging external stairway that provides necessary secondary
egress for the second floor apartment of a 2-family dwelling. We plan to widen the
existing stairway from 3.5 feet to 4 feet. We also plan to extend the deck forward by
several feet. An option might be to widen the deck, but we may run into setback issues
as the current stairway just barely meets that standard.
