White 112 Elm Street Goffstown, NH 03045 RE: Traders Row – Building 30 Energy Code Compliance Good Morning Rob, GDS has completed the data collection and diagnostic testing of the units located within Building 30 at 45 Traders Way. I am pleased to inform you that these units have met the minimum performance requirements of 780 CMR 51, Chapter 11 (Residential Code Amendments) and Appendix AA (Massachusetts Stretch Energy Code) as it applies in Salem, MA. Section AA103.1 requires that units comply with section N1106 (R406), which allows for a maximum HERS index of 55 (table R406.4). Each of the dwelling units located within the building meet this threshold with worst-case scenario modeling inputs. Air infiltration testing at the whole-building level was not conducted on building 30 to satisfy R402.4; however, the individual dwelling units, with air leakage rates that exceed that of R402.4 remain in compliance with the HERS 55 requirement and Stretch Energy Code.
