The Undersigned hereby petitions the Board of Appeals to vary the terms of the Salem Zoning Ordinance and allow the project to be
constructed as per the plans submitted,as the enforcement of said Zoning By-Laws would involve practical difficulty or unnecessary
hardship to the Undersigned and relief may be granted without substantially derogating from the intent and purpose of the Zoning
Ordinance.

I am applying for a Special Permit to practice Massage Therapy in my home. I want to support the physical
health and mental well-being of the Salem community.At my residence,there is ample parking for one client at a
time,as I will not see more than that. Clients will not overlap, and there will be time in between each,so parking
will not affect the neighborhood. I will not receive deliveries or trucks of any kind. Massage therapy will not really
impose any additional burden on the utility usage of our home, and there will not be any effect on the
environment or surrounding neighborhood. I will be contributing to the tax base of the city, as my clients,some
from other towns,will be spending their money at my Salem-based practice. Please consider my application, as
I hope to positively impact the Salem community with my small business.
