Michael Sullivan Members Absent:Helen Sides Decision:To recommend approval of the proposed façade modifications as presented upon the submittal of paint color samples to staff and review and approval of same by DRB member, Glenn Kennedy. Referenced Plans and Documents: - Application prepared by Marnie Greenhut, 140 Washington Street, containing façade and sign renderings, photographs, and floor plans, submitted on June 30, 2021. Conditions of Approval: - Consistency with Approved Design/Plans: Should the applicant determine that the project may not be completed as presented and conditioned herein, he/she/they shall return to the DRB to review proposed modifications prior to making any changes in the field. - The applicant shall submit color samples for the façade paint, including the proposed door paint color for administrative review by DRB member Glenn Kennedy. Findings: - The proposal is consistent with the design standards and guidelines for buildings in the Downtown Renewal Area. The Board found that the proposed façade improvements are predominantly in-kind and will brighten and freshen up the façade of this building. The Board was in favor of a bright door color, but want to ensure that the proposed yellow is cohesive with the muted colors of the façade.
