Mr. Abongnelah,
On February 4 th of 2019 , and again in August 22,2019 you were notified of a building and
zoning violation relating to the construction of a second floor deck at your property. The deck
was constructed without a building permit and in violation of Salem Zoning. You were given the
right to appeal the Building code issue to the B.B.R.S in Boston and your right to appeal the
Zoning violation to the Zoning Board in Salem. You have done neither.
Therefore, you are directed to remove the second floor deck by October 15'h,2021. Failure to
comply with this order will result in daily fines for both the Building Code violations and the
Zoning violations.
