Dear Trustee,
I was called to your property on 8/23/2021 by the Salem P.D. They were at the property to deal
with an individual who was squatting in the first floor apartment. To gain access ,plywood was
torn off the outside of the home. The exterior conditions, the apartment itself and the
unserviceable doors combine to make this unit unsafe to occupy. Per the State Building Code,
780 CMR section 106, I am removing the occupancy permit for the first floor apartment and it
shall be unlawful to occupy until such time that Building permits are pulled,repairs made and a
new certificate of occupancy is issued. Per Salem City Ordinance, a new certificate of inspection
must be done for this unit by the Salem Health Department .
