• Pumped liquid from bottom of composter
• Raked and aerated composting mass
• Added compost enhancer
• Poured 5 gallons of water down urinals to test and clear lines
• Tested and inspected all composting system components
o Charge controller good
o Battery good
o Pump good
o Cleaned ventilation fan,removed dead birds and sealed above fan housing
with aluminum tape; 1" screen on top of vent will prevent bird problem
from recurring
• Removed non-biodegradable items from composting mass
• Composter is about half full of solid material
Notes:
• Make sure that wood planer shavings are being added periodically
• Composter needs to be pulled back into place and re-secured this season; It has
moved forward several inches and plumbing is close to breaking
Supplies Left:
• Four hand sanitizer cartridges
Supplies Needed:
• Screen for top of vent line
• Two large corner braces to repair front of wood cradle once composter has been
reset
