(Partner) on behalf Prime Storage Shetland, LLC (our client), has prepared this 120-day Release Notification. On January 10, 2022 Partner was provided with signature authorization by our client to file a 120-day release notification with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) on its behalf. The current owner for the referenced property is Prime Storage Shetland, LLC who purchased the property on May 1, 2019. Partner is currently conducting Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP) assessment activities under Release Tracking Number (RTN) 3-0035818, which include delineation of volatile organic compound (VOC) impacted groundwater. Assessment activities included the installation of overburden groundwater monitoring wells for the collection of soil and groundwater samples in proximity to Prime Storage Shetland Building 4. The results of the investigation (laboratory report dated September 13, 2021) detected polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAHs) in soil above the MCP RCS-1 reportable concentrations at boring location MW203 (soil sample ID B203) located adjacent to the southwest exterior of Building 4. Additionally, at boring location MW205 (soil sample ID B205 and (laboratory report dated September 15,2021) in an Activity Use Limitation (AUL) area associated with RTN 3-0025120 exhibited PAHs above RCS-1. Partner is currently assessing the data for B205 to determine if conditions are consistent with the Response Action Outcome(RAO)completed for RTN 3-0025120. Pursuant to Section 40.1403(9) of the MCP, local officials of a community in which a disposal site is located or in any other communities which are, or are likely to be, affected by a disposal site may request an opportunity for Public Involvement Activities related to any Immediate Response Actions conducted pursuant to 310 CMR 40.0410 or Release Abatement Measures conducted pursuant to 310 CMR 40.0440 800-419-4923 www.PARTNEResi.com PARTNER, and iinon Tier Classification. Such requests shall be, mar1P in writing to the person(s) conducting the response actions and copied concurrently to MassDEP. Partner has been engaged by the current property owner to address this issue and assessment activities are ongoing.
