An application Is being submitted to the Board of Appeals for the following reason(s):
I am proposing to construct a 12'x 14'screened in porch to my home located at 22 Orne St Salem MA,
in the R-2 Zoning District. The current Zoning Ordinance requires the minimum depth of the rear yard
to be 30 feet. However the current depth of my rear yard is 23.6 feet; the proposed addition would not
change the pre-existing, non conforming rear setback.
For this reason,I am requesting:

constructed as per the plans submitted,as the enforcement of said Zoning By-Laws would involve practical difficulty or unnecessary
hardship to the Undersigned and relief may be granted without substantially derogating from the intent and purpose of the Zoning
Ordinance.

To whom it may concern:I am asking permission to add a 12'x 14'screened in porch to my home at 22 Orne St in Salem MA.The use of
the structure will not affect traffic flow or safety. It will not affect public services,utilities,or the environment,nor will it have any major
financial impact on the Citys tax base.I do believe the simple lines of the proposed structure will fit in nicely with my neighborhood's
character.And although it will not help the community's needs in any significant way it will certainly help my wife's desperate need to sit
outside in the summertime and not be eaten alive by mosquitos.
