Handley and Cox 9 Abbott Street Beverly Ma. 01915 Re: 53-59 Mason Street,Salem Dear Attorney Handly, It has been asked if the City of Salem would allow any more time for the trucking company to remain at the property. The answer is no, The agreement was that the Trucking Company would be gone by November. The understanding was that your lease required a four month notice and that your clients did give notice. The abutters are very unhappy with the existing Zoning violation and we, the City, have no interest in prolonging the situation. At this point, failure to cease the use at the property will constitute a Zoning violation and fines can be as high as $300 per day. Please let me know your plan of action?
