As per our conversation of this afternoon, I feel that you
are being incredibly unreasonable in fining me any money
regarding the notification deadline of Friday, Noon .
To begin with , I didn 't get out of court until 2 :00 Thursday .
I went to the building and started to make arrangements with the
tenants . I phoned 3 different hotels in the Salem area and
discovered that due to Halloween tourists, they were completely
booked . Nothing would be available until after the first of
November . I Ecund one rooming house in Salem, I drove by and
foutd it to be unsafe . It had only 2 rooms available .
I checked on hotels on Route One , found one that could accomodace
two families and found a rooming house in Lynn that could acr_omodate
two families . In the meantime, my tenants were speaking with their
family and frieds . Carmen Espinal , # 111, is visiting family in
Santo Domingo and won ' t be back for 3-4 weeks . Her brother sinned
the paper for her . #2R, Tiburicio family, decided to to to
New York to stay with family. Three out of the r,�!mainign five
tenants decided to stay with family in the area . The remaining
two tenants did not give me their decision until approximately
5pm on Friday night , saying they would rather s'ay with family
than relocate to Danvers or Lynn . To say the lease , this was a
hectic 30 hburs after leaving Court. on Thursday afternoon .
I helped tenants physically move some of their belongings to
wherever thay had chosen to stay.
My focus was taking care of my tenants and securing the building.
I wasn ' t aware of this requirement to notify yo-j that the tenants
had moved out .
In closing, this has been a very traumatic experience . I moved
quickly , as required , and the tenants were all relocated by 5pm
Friday, October 21 , 2005 . Please reconsider this fine and turn
things around , because I fully intend to work closely with yotl
: .i getting this property back on line as quickly as possible .
