Please provide information regarding any storage tanks or environmental issues on that property, as well as any Code violations or issues for the Museum Place Mall and office suites. Please provide any available information regarding the former gas station and its' storage tanks that was located on the subject Site at the southwest corner of Church Street and a portion of St. Peter Street (now part of the subject Site). This gas station apparently used a street address of 15-21 St. Peter Street, according to a 1970 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map. Additionally, there was an Emergency Response Notification System (ERNS) report dated 3/4/91 for Museum Place Mall, Church Street with the Salem Planning Department listed as the discharger. The release is listed as 200 gallon of oil and water. The Planning Department was contacted and they had no knowledge of the release and suggested that your office may have further information.
