FY22 Action Plan
Purpose
–To obtain citizen comments on Salem’s housing, community
and economic development needs for low-to moderate-
income residents and neighborhoods, in order to begin
preparation of the annual Action Plan.
–The Action Plan is a 1-year document that outlines activities
to be undertaken in FY22 (July 1, 2021 –June 30, 2022),
based on priorities from the 5-Year Consolidated Plan & any
new needs/priorities identified

Estimated Funding
–The FY22 allocations have not yet been released
by the U.S. Dept. of Housing & Urban
Development (HUD).
–FY21 estimates:
–$1,098,908 in Community Development Block Grant
funds (CDBG)
–$168,650 in Home Investment Partnership funds
(HOME)
–$74,000 in CDBG program income
