Install solar panels on facade slope and flat portion of roof with the following conditions:
On sloped portion offagade roof,panels to be designed such that the top of the array aligns with the top of the
sloped roof. Roofpanels to be installed in portrait and landscape layout to allow approximately 20"clearance
along eave edge of roof to allow for reinstallation of perimeter balustrade at a future time.
On flatportion of roof, allow 2'clearance along roof edge to allow reinstallation of widow's walk balustrade at
a future time. Panels may be installed flat or sloped at the owner's option.
This certificate acknowledges special circumstances particular to this property that represent an unusual
condition, which is not intended to establish a precedent for future solar arrays in the historic district.
