Dear Madame Chair,
If you will check the minutes of a meeting held in your office about a year
ago, concerning the fence between 380 Essex Street and the property now
owned by Doctor Eric Bachman, you will find that this fence was
approved at that time.
Further, that fence was destroyed in a windstorm and is being replaced by
a fence of exactly the same dimension and design. Also, that same
windstorm did considerable damage to the east side of the house taking
out part of the faucet and much of the widow's walk railing. The faucet
has been replaced and the lumber for the replacement of the railing is now
cured and as soon as I am well enough the railings will be replaced. The
railing over the addition will be replaced as soon as the turnings, that were
stolen, can be turned.
Very truly yours,
O. Palmer Swecker
