We want to repair two small sections of clapboards that were installed incorrectly (see photos). In these sections,
the clapboard ends line up together and are not staggered. Rain can penetrate more easily, and caulking was used as
a temporary solution. We want to remove every other clapboard vertically and create a staggered pattern.

1.2 (2) On the left side, rows of clapboards were installed improperly. The butt edges align when the should be staggered.
This can allow moisture into the wall system. These edges need to be keep weather tight at all times.
