Outline of work for 42 Chestnut St. Salem MA
+ Remove the trim underneath the gutter throughout the home.
o Clean, Scrape and Caulk all areas (see images)
+ Scrape, clean and caulk all loose paint areas
Replace all trim with in-kind profile, pre-primed trim
Repair/rebuild the rear right corner—gutter, fascia, inner fascia board and
soffit
o Replace all materials with pre-primed wood. In the case of the gutter
—the exact profile will be used.
• Repair/ rebuild the front left—gutter, fascia and soffit
o Replace all materials with pre-primed wood. In the case of the gutter
—the exact profile will be used.
+ Add a piece of round copper elbow and gutter to direct the water (see
image)
+ Tack in the 18 inch fascia board and caulk (see image) also
o Examine fascia gutter interface and caulk fascia to gutter
+ When completed scrape and treat the inside of all wood gutters with
linseed oil.
