The William Bates House was last painted in 2006.The condo association has solicited three bids from area
contractors to repaint the entire house,with the goal of beginning work in mid-September 2016 and finishing in
mid-Octotober 2016. We intend to use the same color scheme as we did in 2006:
BODY: Benjamin Moore Louisberg Green (HC-113)
DOOR: Benjamin Moore Boston Brick (2092-30)
TRIM: Benjamin Moore Navajo White (OC-95)*
*The original paint color--Impressive Ivory--was discontinued by the manufacturer,California Paints. With advice
from the associates at Waters & Brown,we have selected an alternative product that is virtually identical to the
current trim color. For reference,we have enclosed photos of the property,paint swatches,and a copy of the 2006
Certificate of Appropriateness listing the original colors.

I have prepared the following contract for the exterior painting to be done at the above address. Below is a detailed description of the
work to tie completed.

• howu wash house with uroid&mildew remover
• scrape all loose and peeling paint where needed
• spot prime with primer(tinted to finish color)
• Apply one coat full primer(tinted to finish color)on front and rear sections of house
• Spot prime(tinted to finish colorl to all other areas
• Apply one coat of 100%acrylic latex California FreshCoat finish paint to entire body&trim
• After inspection any rotted wood will be replaced for an additional $15.00/foot
• All equipment will be taken down each night and stored in a designated area
• All debris will be removed nightly
