As a result, each summer six or more window air conditioners are installed, which are all visible from public roadways. To make the house more comfortable, remove the need for window units and increase energy efficiency we are installing air sourced heat pumps. The heat pumps will be installed to the right hand side of the pantry (see 1st floor blue prints below). The wiring and heating/cooling lines will be ran into the house using a small 9” x 4” window that is present in the pantry crawl space. The heat pumps and their associated wiring and heating/cooling lines will not be visible from any public way.
