Description of Work Proposed:
■ Redesign front entry porch with the following changes:
o Enlarge porch to correspond with entrance surround;
o Relocate porch stairs from west side of porch to east side;
o Install new porch railings to match existing with square balusters,handrails,and posts with pyramidal caps
to be constructed of wood;
o Reduce height of stair risers to 71/a';
o Change porch lattice to square pattern;and
o Paint porch railings, trim and lattice to match trim color'7ewett White";porch decking to remain natural.
■ Remove one basement window;and
■ Relocate existing gate to rear of porch and add fence section to match existing fence design.
All work to comply with application drawings submitted 3121117. Upon completion of work,please notify Historical
Commission staff for final review and sign-off of Certificate.
