forth in the Historic District's Act(M.G.L. Ch. 40C) and the Salem Historic Districts Ordinance.

Approval based on drawings prepared by Jones Architecture dated May 12,2017. Work includes:
■ Removal of rear mudroom,basement bulkhead and back stair;
■ Installation of one Marvin Ultimate all wood true-divided 6/1 window in location of removed rear vestibule
■ Removal of single window on east elevation
■ Construction of 10'-6"x 12'-8"single-story addition on east elevation.Windows to be Marvin Ultimate
wood true-divided windows in size and mullion pattern to match existing windows on house. New door
and granite stair to be added to rear of addition.Door to be wood full-light Marvin Contemporary Door.
■ Installation of new Bilco steel bulkhead at rear of house.
■ Installation of new wood capped flatboard cedar fencing at rear property line and across driveway. Fence
at driveway to be T tall with gate and painted or stained to match color of house trim.Fence at rear
property line to include gate with a height range of approximately 4'tall to T tall. This fence to remain
unpainted. NOTE. The height of the fence may require a zoning variance.
Upon completion of work,please notify Historical Commission staff for final review and sign-off of Certificate.
