It is hereby certified that the Salem Historical Commission has determined that the proposed:

forth in the Historic District's Act(M.G.L. Ch. 40C) and the Salem Historic Districts Ordinance.

Description of Work Proposed:
■ Replace front and side entry doors with 6-panel wood doors. Upper panels to be glazed with option of
flat or beveled glass. Doors to be painted black in high gloss finish;
• Replace door thresholds in oak to match existing design;
■ Move and replace door numbers to top of lintel above entry doors;
r Stain front concrete stairs in gray to match color ofgranite base;
Coat foundation in solid stain in "Rust"color; and
■ Replace front handrails in wrought iron or painted wood. Handrails to be either straight on brackets or
with returns.
■ NOTE:Review ofproposed changes to side entries is continued to November IP meeting. Applicant
to submit dimensional drawing of proposed changes to both entry porches
Upon completion of above work,please notify Historical Commission staff for final review and sign-off of
Certificate.
