Replacement of wooden treads on the front staircase of 266 Lafayette Street with AZEK Arbor Collection color
Morado composite treads, color choice and URL attached.
The stair treads on the 266 Lafayette side of the building are cracked and concave,allowing water and ice to pool
on them. The attached photo shows pooling after just a light rainfall. This repair is urgent as the winter season is
nearing and the stairway will become a public safety hazard. As you can see from the attached photo of both front
stairways,the mailbox is affixed to the house at the top of the stairs.
The side and center rails will be addressed in the spring of 2018 in a separate application.
The owners of 268 Lafayette have researched and presented to us replacement tread,baluster and railing materials
for the stairs and porches. We have agreed to all three, tread,baluster and railing materials,and have attached
sample photos and URLs for your reference.
