The scope of work on the exterior portion of the building includes the removal of existing rear ramp and installation of new wood framed stair and roof structure on the west elevation; new flat skylights to replace existing in kind;installation of new elevator&penthouse for handicapped accessible access visible from the West&North elevations; and the installation of new ridge caps at all ridges typical throughout. The restoration scope will include the repointing, replacement(as neccessary)and sealing of all existing masonry chimneys;refurbishment of the existing front and side porch,stair,deck and columns;replacing of missing and/or damaged slate roof tiles throughout; scraping, feather sanding,priming and painting of all existing clapboard,corner boards and decorative corbels; scraping of loose paint and priming&painting of all existing masonry foundation exposed to view; the removal and restoration of existing double leaf front door,replacement of existing trim around entry&replacement of entry hardware with new antique brass finish hardware; and the restoration of all window sashes present on all elevations and the installation of new storm windows.
